Where are you located?We are located at N2393 Schacht Road in the Town of Peshtigo, but we have a Marinette address. Visit the Find Us page to get directions. |
What are your hours of operation?Our hours of operation vary based on the time of the year. You can find our hours on the HOURS & LOCATION tab on our website. |
What are the directions to your location?From US41, take exit 216 toward Peshtigo. Head East on Schact Road. Go 0.1 mi. Turn right (south) onto Old Peshtigo Rd. Go 0.6mi. Turn left onto Schacht Rd. Go for 0.4 mi. The winery will be on your right. There are signs directing you to our location from US41. Please trust the signs even if your GPS tells you otherwise. |
How much is a tasting?A flight is $8 for 4 samples of wine or cider. Flights can be enjoyed at one of our indoor lounge spaces or outside on our patio. |
Do you serve food?At this time we do not have a kitchen. However, for major events throughout the year, we often bring in a local charity to grill. The charity keeps all the money they earn from their food booth. We also bring in food trucks. Contact us to find out when we are offering food. |
Are kids allowed to visit the winery?Kids are welcome, but please remember that this is an adult environment where alcohol is being served. Kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times |
Do I need a reservation?We request that if you have a group larger than 8 people that you contact us in advance. All private events require reservations and a signed event contract. |
Do you offer tours?We offer tours on Saturdays at the top of the hour from 11 am to 4 pm. If you visit on a day other than Saturday, feel free to ask us for a tour. If we can make it happen, we will but sometimes it just isn't possible due to the production schedule. |
Do you have live music?We have live music on Saturdays and occasional Sundays in the summer. You can find our concert list on the Events Calendar. |
Do you have seating?Yes, we have indoor seating with high top barrel tables as well as lounge seating around our fireplace. During the summer months, we have a tent and picnic tables set up for our Summer Concert Series and to enjoy any day the weather permits. |
Are you handicapped accessible?Yes, we are handicapped accessible. |
Are you open year round?Yes, we are open year round. We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days. We do have shortened hours in the winter. You can find our current hours on the HOURS & LOCATION tab on our website. |
Do you serve other alcoholic beverages?Yes! We have hard apple cider on tap, Wisconsin craft beer on tap, and wine available to drink by the glass or bottle on site. |
Do you have non-alcoholic wine?No, we do not carry non-alcoholic wine. |
Do I need to dress up?Absolutely not! We are a casual and laid back kind of place. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. |
Do you allow carry-ins?NO! State Law prohibits carry-ins of any alcoholic products. If you want to bring a small snack to munch on outdoors while you listen to the concerts, that's ok. Just don't bring a grill and a cooler stocked with goodies. |
Do you have parking for RVs? Boats? Motorcycles?We have a paved parking lot and overflow parking in a grassy area. We encourage RVs and Boats to park near the far end of the lot. We are a Harvest Host location, too! There is parking for Motorcycles right in front of the door. Please use the wood blocks to prop your kickstand. |
Do you allow bus tours?We are happy to accommodate bus tours with reservations scheduled in advance. |

Do you have any wine clubs?Yes. Visit the Clubs page on our website. |
Have your wines won any awards?You bet! Listed under each wine in the Online Store are the highest award each wine has won. Many of our wines have won multiple awards and we just don't have the room to list them all. Take a look at all the medals when you visit us. |
Do you take empty bottles back for re-use?Sorry, we do not take back empty bottles. Please recycle them or give them to your favorite Pinterest fan! |
Can I open a bottle and drink it there?Yes! During our Summer Concert Series, we encourage you to open a bottle of your favorite wine (purchased here the same day) and enjoy the concert. During the winter months you can hang out in our tasting room. We have several tables and table top games to enjoy. |
Do you allow pets?As much as we would love to have puppies running all over (we love dogs), we produce a product that people consume. So, we ask that pets on leashes enjoy our outdoor spaces, but do not come inside. Service pets are of course, always welcome. |
How do I order online?Ordering online is a breeze. Just visit the Online Store page on our website and place your order. Please note that there are a few states that we are unable to ship to due to State Laws. |
Where can I find your wines outside of the Tasting Room?We are carried in stores, restaurants and more all over Wisconsin and in parts of Michigan. Visit the Find Our Wines page to get a full listing. |
Do you have a picnic area?We have picnic tables set up under the tent for our Summer Concert Series. Feel free to bring folding chairs and set up your own space. However, carry-ins of alcoholic beverages are prohibited by State Law. Snacks are allowed, but no grills, crock pots, or chafing dishes, please. |
Do you offer quantity discounts?Yes we do! When you visit our Tasting Room to purchase wine, we offer $5 off of 4 bottles, $10 off of 6 bottles and $20 off of 12 or more bottles (off total purchase). And we have some great clubs you can join to save even more! |
How do I learn about events you are having?Facebook is a great place to learn about what is going on here at Forgotten Fire. Make sure to like our page and follow our posts. And you can always visit our Events tab to see our calendar of events. |
How do I sign up for your newsletter?Sign up for our Newsletter by signing our Guest Book in the Tasting Room or by signing up on our Newsletter page, or just send us a message with your email address and ask us to add you to the list. |
How do I request a donation?We have a Donation Request Form that can be found on the Contact page. We require this form be filled out for any donation request to be considered. |
